New Shooting Kit Available
In partnership with Alias Smith & Singh we are pleased to offer shooting crew packages with a number of new cameras at extremely competitive rates. Please call us for our latest fully equipped crew prices.
Sony XDCAM EX PMW 350
Sony’s PMW-350 is the latest addition to the XDCAM EX product range. The highly portable PMW-350 inherits many of its features from its predecessors, the PMW-EX1 and PMW-EX3. It is equipped with three 2/3-inch-type Exmor full- HD CMOS sensors which result in stunningly high quality images with high sensitivity and a high signal-to-noise ratio.
The camera also features DV Cam recording and playback, four channels of audio and slow and quick motion functions.
Panasonic P2 HPX 2700
Utilizing three 1-megapixel 2/3- inch native HD resolution CCDs, the VariCam 2700 records independent-frame 1080 and 720 images in AVC-Intra 100 and AVC-Intra 50 as well as in industry standard DVCPRO HD.
With five 64 GB P2 cards installed, the VariCam 2700 can record up to 400 minutes in AVC-Intra 100 at 1080/24p, 800 minutes in AVC-Intra 100 at 720/24p and 320 minutes in other AVC-Intra 100 or DVCPRO HD formats.
JVC GY-HM100 Pro HD
Customers like the fact that the camcorder records to both .MOV .MP4. This allows simple integration with their preferred editing system. The quality is full 1080 and surprisingly good for a camera of this size.
Of course, in addition to these new cameras we will still be delighted to supply crews shooting on all other formats including: HDCAM, DVCAM, DIGIBETA, HDV, DVCPRO & RED
Plus we have a wide range of lighting, monitors, audio kit and VTRs available.

DIA Acquires 10% stake in TCC
We are very pleased to announce that after numerous discussions and meetings over recent weeks, The Crewing Company have signed a deal with DIA which will see a ten percent share of the recruitment business issued to the media investment vehicle backed by former Soho Editors MD David Brady and former Resolution Post MD Dan Gable. The contract was signed at this week's Broadcast Video Expo and sees The Crewing Company now working closely with other DIA backed and associated companies including broadcast hire firm Alias Smith & Singh - who TCC will work closely with to supply cost effective, fully equipped crew solutions to clients all over the UK - and The Bridge, a media training business established to be the "go to" place for the creative industries and to bridge the gap between education and employment.
DIA will support The Crewing Company through a rapid and ambitious programme of expansion designed to generate a huge increase in work for the company's registered pool of freelance production and post production talent while growing its portfolio of crewing and recruitment services to embrace new media related sectors and geographic locations.
"The experience, skills and contacts which DIA bring to the table will be invaluable to the continued growth of our business.", says TCC Joint MD Stuart Hatton.
